Word clouds: a magazine cover concept

Word clouds are hardly  new, there is even one on this page, but this is the first time I’ve seen one on the cover of a magazine.

According to the magazine this one was created from all the content in a special section in Science magazine “Dealing with Data.”  The size of each word relates to the frequency with which it appears in the combined texts. References and figure legends were included; common words, authors, and affiliations were excluded. There is an expanded version at www.sciencemag.org/special/data/, although you will have to register to see it.
